These are very cool! I was looking for a way to make my own and save myself some serious cash – especially since I only backpack about once a year.
Have you looked at any of the designs that have a woven back support structure? Kind of like a woven chair bottom.
Also, how did you size the frames up for all your differing body sizes?

We only went on the one trip, so I haven’t spent any more time designing or upgrading them. I measured from around where the kids belts would be to just above their shoulders to size the frames…if I remember correctly.
