Cabin Project Ideas

I’ve got lots of ideas for things to come. I seem to jump around a lot between all of my different hobbies and right now it is coming back into the Cabin Project. I’ve been on a big fishing spree over the summer and didn’t do too much woodworking. I thought I may start jotting down my ideas just in a text version here and try to stay somewhat focused on getting things done. So to start out with I am going to list out some of the projects I’d like to do out at my Cabin. Some are more unlikely than others to actually get done…but it doesn’t hurt to jot it down. Buy and install a water dispenser for the 5 gallon water jugs I am thinking about designing/building a corner shelf to house the dispenser and also considering pluming it into the faucet of the kitchenette. Build a water filtration system I will probably use the ceremic candle type filters and build one out of two 5 gallon buckets. I would also like to look into a natural filter that can be made with items I have on site Would like to find a way to test the water too I’ve started a PVC water pump…I need to finish it Mainly just need to build the check valves and that requires ordering the 3/4 acrylic balls Design and build a battery charger that will use my old push mower to run an alternator Design and build the kitchenette Design and build a hinging Ladder to access the loft. I am currently using a 6 foot step ladder Design and build a hydro generator The hardest part of this is figuring out how to handle changes in water lever Design and build an End Table It will have three slide out drawers Design and build a trundle bed using bed frames I aquired a while back. Integrate a battery monitor into my power system.
